ACA Mudskippers
Junior Development Cyclocross Team

who makes this all happen?

ERIK HULTGREN
Team coach Erik Hultgren has been racing bikes for over 10 years now.  The bike bug bit while Erik was in college, and he was the sole member of the Kent State University Cycling Team.  Erik started racing cyclocross outside Pittsburgh, and ever since it's been his favorite part of cycling.  He started coaching at the ACA junior camps after moving to Colorado in 1999, and was very excited to get the chance to lead the Mudskippers.

BETH WRENN ESTES
Beth has been involved in local cycling since the early 70's. She is currently the Executive Director of the American Cycling Association as well as being a Youth Services Librarian at Lone Tree in the Douglas County Library system.
.
Beth has been a promoter and official since the 70's and has organized The Bob Cook Memorial/Mt. Evans HillClimb since 1981. Beth was the Competition Manager for Cycling for the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta GA., and is an International Level A UCI Commissaire and has officiated all over the world.

Beth created the Mudskippers and made it a dream come true. The dream spread to Erik Hultgren who offered to coach and to Beth Seliga who offered to help sponsor and support the efforts. Add Scott Mares of Sibex Sports into the mix for the equipment procurement and the team became a reality.

Beth loves children and how to help our ACA juniors is always on her mind. She deeply believes that juniors are the future of the sport, not only in Colorado, but all over the world. She is a passionate supporter of junior cycling and the joy of working and supporting the kids can clearly be seen on her face when she is with them.
