Lavender Inspiration || Summer 2015 || Charlottesville Senior Portrait Photographer || Crozet Senior PortraitWedding Photographer

I really have a “show versus tell” mentality so sometimes I create portraits that I feel like my clients will love when they see them. This was one of those sessions. I fell in love with this dress alluring Alberta Ferretti gown in a luscious lavender shade featuring pleated waist, draped silk ribbon on shoulders, and flowing skirt from Shop Gossamer but I knew I needed tones of purple in my portraits. And, what comes to mind when you think of summer and purple tones… Well for me it is lavender. Ruby and I trekked over the the White Oak Lavender Farm for a late afternoon inspiration session. The light was perfectly diffused and the evening was gentle and lovely. Oh and the book is an antique Charles Dickens volume from my set.
