PREVIEW GALLERY: Congratulations, Billie Jo and Blake || Blue Ridge Mountain Dairy Farm Wedding || Rustic and Romantic, Sunflower Yellow and Navy || Summer 2017 || Churchville, Virginia

You will always be the miracle that makes my life complete,
And as long as there’s a breath in me, I’ll make yours just as sweet.
As we look into the future, it’s as far as we can see,
So let’s make each tomorrow be the best that it can be.

Billie Jo and Blake,

Your wedding day was everything summer, happy and bright from the sunflowers to the handmade games for the children. You both put so much of yourselves into your wedding, from the venue, of course, to the amazing handcrafted arches, doorways and arbors. My favorite moment was when you just started to dance, on your own, in the middle of the field, the sunset and mountains all around. It was like the rest of the world melted away for a moment and you were just alone there dancing in the twilight.

You are clearly both cherished and loved by your families and friends. It was so plain to see how much you enjoyed being with them throughout your day. I felt so honored to be there as well!

I wish you many, many years of joy and happiness together! I know that you will continue to bring sunshine and happiness wherever you travel.

I think it is extra special when a bride can get ready at home.

Love love love these beautiful embroidered shirts!!

And her fabulous sleeves!!!

The couple lives and works on this amazing farm nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains and with a knock-you-socks-off mountain view all around.

The couple hand made so many little details to make their day their own. Don’t you just love this welcome sign?

These quilts were all made by hand by the groom’s mother. The way they swayed and floated on the breeze was mesmerizing.

You just can’t have a dairy inspired wedding without your very best girl 🙂

Not a dry eye in the house (or tent) after this special song for Grandma.

Almost everything in this image is a custom detail specifically for their day. The quilts, of course, hand made by Mrs. Rhodes while Blake and his Dad made the wooden doors and the arbor. Little accent pieces from the dairy really tied it all together!

I mean, SERIOUSLY! Loot at these amazing doors. The craftsmanship is impeccable.

One of my favorite reception moments was when Mrs. Rhodes was convinced to get up and dance!

A special song just for Mom and Dad.

A very special thank you to Ruby Moon and Emily Marie Photography  for all their camaraderie and hard work! Thank you for shooting with me, Emily!
