Tiffany and David,
I have been singing the Twist all morning which is pretty funny, I suppose. It was such an honor to photograph your wedding. And, it was the perfect day, the weather, the Blue Ridge Mountains and all of the little spring flowers coming into bloom…
When I first walked in, everyone was so calm and happy. Your family and friends greeted us warmly and we felt relaxed and comfortable. David and his guys were putting ties on in the kitchen with the help of google and your aunties and uncles were playing with babies and just chatting. Soon you arrived and told us you didn’t have any details… and then whoa did you have gorgeous details! From your handmade bouquets to your sparkly accessories. Every mountainside bride needs cozy shoes, and your Kate Spades were just the perfect touch!
I am so glad you opted for a first look with both your dad and David– giving you a few minutes of quiet time with each before the festivities began. And the ceremony! Holy smokes. From the doggie ring bearers to that knockout first kiss, it was so touching and sweet.
BUT I have to say that my favorite part was the ski lift pictures because Tiffany is the definition of mountain bride! Such an adventurous, carefree soul!
I learned a lot about you separately and as a couple from your friends’ toasts and you truly deserve the happiness you have found in each other.
I have no doubt that you will continue to bring joy and love to all of those around you and be perfect parents to whatever children or future doggies come into your lives.
Many, many wishes for a long and happy life together,
A very special thank you to Catie Howard for her camaraderie, hard work and, of course, gorgeous images.
