Sarah and Pat’s Scottish inspired Blue Ridge wedding was held at one of my favorite venues, Montfair Resorts. If you haven’t been there, it is an eco-friendly, rustic hideaway with wild flowers, lily ponds and mountain views. It is the essence of peaceful. Sarah and Pat are a fun-loving, outdoorsy couple who get away to kayak and ride mountain bikes every chance they get so I couldn’t think of a more perfect location for their wedding.
Every little detail, from their arbor to their dresses was in harmony with the Blue Ridge Mountains and Sarah’s bouquet was the icing on the cake. The rain was a welcome addition, bringing cool temperatures and gentle summer breezes. Everyone was smiles and laughs, with a few happy tears, and the joyous group danced the night away.
It was my complete honor to be part of their day, and yet again, I fell just a little in love with one of my new families and can’t wait to watch their lives grow and change over the coming years!
Congratulations, Sarah, Pat & Mya (and all of your families!)
